The Right Rev Adegbite, who is the Methodist Bishop of Ikeja, received the delegation warmly and expressed delight that the May 7 World Praise Day would commence this year.

Earlier in his speech, the CAN Coordinator of the Ifako-Ijaiye zone, in his opening remarks, spoke about the efforts of the Convener, in promoting the vision. He said it was imperative that Lagos State CAN should help promote the vision within the association so that member churches could embrace it.
The convener of the May 7 World Praise Day, Deacon Omole had urged the Bishop to embrace the concept and sell it to Christian in Lagos State. He said, he received the vision of the World Praise Day about seven years ago and that, he eventually wrote a book of the same title on the project, a copy of which he presented to Bishop Adegbite.
Deacon Omole noted that without the cooperation of CAN, it would be difficult to actualize the vision.
Bishop Adegbite promised to brief other officials of his church on the project, hoping that it would receive the required support.
The World Praise Day is an event that is to be held Worldwide on Saturday, May 7, 2022, and it is intended to praise God in gatherings around the world. Deacon Omole said individuals or small groups of people could also sing praises to God on that day at their convenience, in keeping with the divine instruction he received from God.
