MAY 7 WORLD PRAISE DAY INAUGURATED IN LAGOS

Deacon Banjo Omole is the current chairman of the Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos branch of the All Progressive Congress, APC, but his passion as a writer is his main driving force.    On Saturday, November 6, the Deacon did a public presentation of his book, May 7 World Praise Day at a colourful ceremony in a hall at the Ifako-Ijaiye Local government secretariat, Idiagbon, Lagos

The event attracted top dignitaries, clerics and chieftains of the APC in the Local government area. The event was the climax of a seven-year dream to start a May 7 World Praise Day. Omole told the audience that the book documents a vision he received from God to replace the April Fool’s Day with a Praise Day on May 7 every year. He lived with this vision for seven years before he recorded it in a book for wider circulation.

Banjo said the May 7 World Praise Day is a directive from Almighty God for everyone on earth to praise Him on May 7, every year, regardless of their faith or creed. The book launch, he said, marks the first, decisive step in his promotion of the vision. It’s an inauguration of the praise vision which he hopes to pursue henceforth with great vigour, he added.
